We are the largest independently owned Toll Processor in the UK
and unique
in being able to offer a "one stop
shop" service for SCS, Pickling and Oiling
in coil form together with Slitting and Decoiling. This facility enables customers
to avoid
duplicated material
handling and transport costs if using different Toll Processors where more than one process is necessary on their coil.
The principal items of plant now include:

- 200,000 tonnes

Current turnover
Servosteel currently processes approximately
300,000 tonnes per annum. The typical annual
tonnages processed are:
- Slitting - 80,000 tonnes
- Decoiling
- 80,000 tonnes
- Pickling and Oiling
- 115,000 tonnes
- SCS - 25,000 tonnes.
Raw material in the form of steel coils
in various weights, widths, gauge and specification
are delivered to Servosteel by customers
on a Free of Charge basis. Servosteel processes
the material to the customer's specification,
which can be a permutation of Slitting,
Decoiling, Pickling and SCS. Servosteel makes
a charge for the material,
subject to the process, before returning
the finished product in coil or sheet form
to the client, often using its dedicated fleet
of vehicles.
The business has its HQ on a
modern site at Pensnett Road, Dudley
in
the
West Midlands and employs 80 people.
